Complex surface geometries cannot be inspected using only single projection and viewing directions. However, integration of data from a network of multiple optical sensors enables hidden regions to be measured. The colour-coded surfaces in the figure represent surface information recorded by different sensors in the network, automatically merged into a unified world coordinate system.
